To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Westin Tokyo's opening, a special event will be held to express our heartfelt gratitude.
Enjoy special menus and celebration events in our restaurants, bars, and lounges.
We look forward to welcoming you to our hotel, where we will be serving up memorable menus such as limited-time courses, elaborated cocktails and afternoon tea.
To celebrate this special Anniversary, the lobby will feature the “Green Path”, a piece of garden art created by the landscape artist Kazuyuki Ishihara, who also worked on the Westin Garden, the pride of The Westin Tokyo.
The Westin Garden in Ebisu Forest is loved by guests and the local community as a sort of a secret garden, recreating a natural ecosystem despite being located in the city. This work was conceived to evoke that connection and embodies the concept of "Modern Heritage".

Message from Kazuyuki Ishihara
"Green Path" is a new garden that inherits the concept of The Westin Tokyo and connects the lobby with the Westin Garden in the Ebisu Forest. The design is based on the image of a green path and features the same plants as the garden, allowing you to feel connected to nature while indoors. I sincerely hope that Ebisu Forest and the Westin Tokyo continue to thrive for many years to come.”
Kazuyuki Ishihara's Profile
Ishihara, born in Nagasaki Prefecture in 1958, is now the representative of Kazuyuki Ishihara Design Institute Co., Ltd. The artist has won a total of 12 gold medals at the world's oldest and most prestigious Chelsea Flower Show in the United Kingdom, and has also been praised by Queen Elizabeth as the "Green Magician".
Ishihara is mostly active in Tokyo, Nagasaki, and Fukuoka, Japan. Working as a greening producer, the artist is also involved in the landscape design, construction and overall gardens’ production and wall greening for individuals and companies, with a focus on design, and creating towns using greenery both in Japan and overseas.
